102nd Logistic Brigade (United Kingdom)
The Headquarters Combat Service Support Group (Germany) was established in Gütersloh in January 1993, which subsequently became 102 Logistic Brigade.
The units of this military formation are based in the UK and British Forces Germany. It reports to HQ Theatre Troops.
Organisation
102 Logistic Brigade is composed of nine Regular units in peacetime (one being a mixed Regular & Territorial Army unit):
- 102 Logistic Brigade Headquarters and 662 Signal Squadron Royal Signals in Gütersloh, Germany
- 6 Regiment Royal Logistic Corps[1] in Gütersloh, Germany
- 7 Regiment Royal Logistic Corps in Bielefeld and Fallingbostel, Germany.
- 8 Regiment Royal Logistic Corps in Münster and Gütersloh, Germany
- 101 Force Support Battalion Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers in Wrexham and Prestatyn, Wales, Fallingbostel and Bielefeld, Germany, and Coventry and Manchester, England.
- 5th Regiment Royal Military Police in Gütersloh, Germany.
- 5 General Support Medical Regiment Royal Army Medical Corps in Preston, England.
- 102 Military Working Dog Support Unit Royal Army Veterinary Corps in Sennelager, Germany.
- 103 Military Working Dog Support Unit Royal Army Veterinary Corps in Sennelager, Germany.
In addition to Regular Army units 102 Logistic Brigade could also have Territorial Army elements assigned to it during times of conflict.
